How to make Nanaimo Bars Dessert
Step 1: For bottom layer, preheat the oven to 350°F. Butter and grease a 6-inch square cake pan.
Step 2: In a bowl, combine the butter, cocoa, egg and sugar. Use medium heat to boil the mixture until thicken. Remove it from heat. And then, add in graham wafer crumbs, almonds and coconut gradually until well combined.
Step 3: Press the mixture into the bottom of the greased baking pan.
Step 4: Place into the preheated oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Let it cool to room temperature. Set aside.
Step 5: For second layer, combine the butter, cream, vanilla custard powder and icing sugar until light. Spread over the bottom layer.
Step 6: For third layer, Combine the chocolate with butter and stir well. Spread evenly over the second layer.
Step 7: Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours and cut into bars. Enjoy it!
